Applications

AEC2332bX combustible and toxic gas detector can be used in industrial sites with combustible and hazardous gas, such as petroleum, chemical engineering, natural gas, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, wineries, nuclear power, new energy and ship industries, to meet the explosion and dust explosion prevention requirements on the site. In addition, AEC2332bX can be used together with ACTION integrated sound-light alarm AEC2323 to send such alarm on the site in case of leakage of hazardous gas.

AEC2232bX can communicate with ACTION branching gas alarm controllers (AEC2392a and AEC2392b) through 4-20mA standard analog signal, or it can be accessed to PLC/DCS/SIS system (which is for automatic control) for unified management.

Main features

1. Design of highly integrated integration function module
The sensor module integrates sensors and processing circuits and independently and completely finishes all data operation and signal conversion of the detector. In addition, the specific heating function improves the working ability of the detector in low temperature. The detector module is responsible for power supply, communication and output function.

2. High concentration ultralimit protection
The sensor module has automatic power-off protection function when having ultralimit gas concentration. And it can enable the detection 30s after till the concentration is normal and the power is restored in order to prevent reduction of sensor’s service life due to submergence by high concentration gas.

3. Standard digital interface
Use standard digital interfaces between modules. The misplug prevention gold-plated contact pin is for the convenience of hot plug and change on the site.

4. Flexible combination and diverse output
The free change and combination of multiple types of detector and sensor modules can form a variety of detectors with particular output functions and detection objects, thus rapidly meeting the customized demand of users.

5. Easy replacement of sensor like replacing a bulb
Sensor modules of different gas and different ranges can be changed freely. No calibration setting is needed after change and the detector can read out the factory calibration data automatically and work immediately. The mode not only extends the service life of the product, but also realizes the long-distance detection calibration conveniently to avoid complicated disassembly of overall equipment and difficult site calibration and to reduce the later maintenance cost of the detector.

6. LED field on-site concentration display and diverse calibration methods
With highlight LED real time concentration display and further and wider visual distance and visual angle, it is applicable to industrial environment requirement. It can set/calibrate the detector by keys, infrared remote controls or magnetic bars, thus it is of flexible and convenient operation.

The field display detector can achieve three ways of calibration, including infrared remote control, magnetic bar and key.
