In order to guarantee the correct operation of the regulator, and in order to avoid methane from freezing during the falling pressure stage, the regulator is heated with liquid taken from the engine's cooling system.
Engine idling is regulated by a manually adjustable solenoid valve. Gas is taken from the third stage through the main manifold.
It includes an electronically driven starting device fitted with a safety device which intervenes shutting down gas solenoid valves in the event of accidental engine shut down.
The regulators is characterized by greater flow rates and therefore by a specific use on large vehicles.
