Product Description
Some specific processes in chemical and petrochemical industry require pure hydrogen. The most usual method to obtain the hydrogen required in these processes is steam methane reforming which is to perform the chemical reaction of pressurized and desulfurized methane and steam in a special reformer filling with catalyst to generate reforming gas with H2, CO2 and CO, then convert the CO in the gas mixture to CO2 by a water-gas shift reaction through recycling some heat by a waste heat boiler, and ultimately extract qualified H2 from the converted gas by pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology.
